As a managing director of Crossplane Capital, Katie is responsible for sourcing acquisition opportunities, developing relationships with transaction advisors, and managing the firm’s investment pipeline. As the head of business development, she also oversees the firm’s marketing and communications strategy.
Prior to joining Crossplane Capital, Katie was with middle-market private equity firm Gauge Capital, where she was responsible for sourcing investment opportunities and managing intermediary relationships. Prior to Gauge Capital, Katie served as chief financial officer of a Dallas-based family office. She began her career as a CPA in the audit practice of KPMG.
Katie serves on the Accounting Advisory Board at Southern Methodist University and is a guest lecturer for the MSA program at the SMU Cox School of Business. She enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis and traveling. Katie is her daughter’s Girl Scout troop “cookie mom” – her favorite girl scout cookie flavor is the samoa (preferably frozen).
