Laura Kaspar; Vice President, Human Capital

Phone: 410.688.8349‬

As Vice President of Human Capital with Crossplane Capital, Laura partners with our senior management teams to create and implement value creation plans with an emphasis on our most significant asset – our people. Laura’s responsibilities include management and development of Crossplane Capital’s talent pool, optimizing organizational design, and alignment of culture, engagement, compensation and total rewards with overall business strategy.

Prior to joining Crossplane Capital, Laura served as global vice president of human resources with Peak-Ryzex, a middle-market supply chain technology integrator.  During her tenure with Peak-Ryzex, Laura led the executive team in the development and deployment of the organization’s new strategic framework, including top grading organizational leadership, realigning resources and incentives to support higher value product lines, and a dramatic turnaround of company culture.   As a result of improved operational performance during Laura’s tenure, Peak-Ryzex increased its valuation by over 65%.

Laura brings to the table over 20 years of human capital experience across a broad array of industries, including construction, manufacturing, energy, technology, and professional services. Prior to her work with Peak-Ryzex, she spent six years with Acton Mobile where her leadership was instrumental in the successful turnaround of the company, doubling headcount within a 6-month window and tripling EBITDA over 3 years.

Laura graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Psychology from Salisbury University and an MS in Industrial / Organizational Psychology from Radford University.

As a self proclaimed “small-town girl” from the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Laura’s personal and professional experiences align well with the lower middle market businesses that Crossplane Capital targets. When she is not working to develop high performance cultures within our portfolio companies, Laura loves to read, garden, and spend time with her husband and two sons.  When she (eventually) retires, Laura aspires to drive an allergy friendly ice cream truck.
