As a Senior Analyst at Crossplane Capital, Blake is responsible for supporting the team across multiple areas, including opportunity screening and evaluation, financial modeling, company and industry due diligence, value creation planning, and ongoing portfolio company support.

Experience

Prior to joining Crossplane Capital, Blake was a senior associate at Grant Thornton, where he worked in the M&A strategy and transactions group. At Grant Thornton, Blake specialized in buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions for clients across various industries, including commercial and industrial services, technology, and consumer products. Prior to working at Grant Thornton, Blake was an audit associate at RSM, where he obtained his CPA license.

Personal

Born and raised in a small town in Nebraska, Blake developed a deep appreciation for fostering relationships, helping the community, and the importance of hard work. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, wakesurfing, playing basketball, and running short distances. Growing up on a farm, Blake’s least favorite activities included burning pastures and coming inside for dinner.
