As a vice president at Crossplane Capital, Michael is responsible for supporting the team across multiple areas, including opportunity screening, financial modeling, company and industry due diligence, and value creation planning.
Prior to joining Crossplane Capital, Michael was an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions for the firm’s clients. Prior to investment banking, he was a private wealth management analyst at Goldman Sachs. He passed all three levels of the CFA exams and earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation (CFA® charter).
Born and raised in a large family in Texas, Michael understands the importance of working with others and appreciates the high level of collaboration required to manage a business in the lower middle market. When not working, he enjoys playing basketball, Peloton workouts, reading, and spending time with his wife and daughter. He is an unwavering supporter of all Dallas sports teams, including the Cowboys, Mavericks, Stars, and Rangers. He has 12 siblings.
